Herrut

Herrut is an evil hydra serpent god who chased the early Egyptian goddess Meh, Horus, and Meh's protector, the god Seb, into the reedbeds of lower Egypt. In later times, Herrut became absorbed by a similar god Apep, whose story originally referred to Ra in the place of Horus, and eventually they both became absorbed into an aspect of Set.
